A witness directed police to a Gages Lake man who burglarized a home and business this week in Wadsworth, police said.
Joseph K. Segerstrom, 24, of the 18700 block of West Gages Lake Road, was charged with burglary and residential burglary after police found him with items stolen from two locations, the Lake County sheriff’s office announced Thursday.
Police responded Tuesday to the pair of burglaries in the 16500 block of West Route 173 and 41400 block of North Route 41 in Wadsworth, according to the sheriff’s office. During the investigation, a witness told detectives Segerstrom was involved.
Police said they questioned Segerstrom, who allegedly admitted his involvement in both burglaries.
Segerstrom was being held at the Lake County Jail on $30,000 bail. He is scheduled to be back in court Feb. 8.
