Q: Favorite local restaurant?
A: I like Puree’s Pizza and Pasta. I like their sausage and cheese pizza.
Q: Last book you read?

Q: Did you make any New Year’s resolutions?
A: No.
Q: Anything you’re looking forward to in 2016?
A: Finish cosmetology school. … That’s the goal, go back and finish.
Q: Do you focus on one specific area in cosmetology?
A: We do it all in cosmetology school: the hair, the nails, the makeup. I like nails and makeup, but I’ll do the hair, I’ll shampoo and dry.
Q: Any misconceptions about the cosmetology field?
A: I think people used to say cosmetology is for dummies, but it’s really hard. It’s a lot of chemistry, biology. You know that your mannequin is your first client, so treat her like you would a client.
Q: Words you live by?
A: Another day, another dollar.
