Munster Police are looking for a man who robbed bank Wednesday afternoon.
Munster Police Lt. Ed Strbjak said a man entered the BMO Harris Bank at 915 Ridge Road at 12:39 p.m. and presented a note demanding money. The man didn’t display a weapon, though the note implied he had one, Strbjak said.
Strbjak said the man fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
Strbjak said witnesses described the man as black, between 6 feet 3 inches and 6 feet 6 inches tall, slender and between 20 and 30 years of age. He was wearing a Chicago Bulls baseball cap, light gray jacket, dark pants and sunglasses.
Anyone having any additional information concerning the incident is asked to contact the Munster Police Department’s Detective Bureau at 219-836-6632.
