Anthony Rizzo has shown love for the Blackhawks before, attending games with teammates and sporting a Hawks sweater on a themed Cubs road trip.
And the Blackhawks made Rizzo feel welcome during their win over the Predators Tuesday night, serenading the Cubs slugger with one of his walk-up songs from last season, Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood,’ before he played ‘Shoot the Puck’ in between periods. Let’s just say we don’t think Rizzo will be giving up baseball anytime soon.
The Cubs were nice enough to offer some words of encouragement afterward, and they’re probably glad the first baseman came away physically (though maybe not emotionally) unscathed.
