Grabowski, who missed nearly four weeks with a sprained left ankle, returned to the lineup and scored a game-high 17 points and had eight rebounds as host York outscored the Rams 13-7 in the fourth quarter.
The senior injured his ankle in a 68-52 win over Lyons on Dec. 4 and was cleared to return for the second game at the Tosh Classic.
“I was a little bit gassed,” Grabowski said. “You expect that a little bit, but I’ve been going harder in practice.”
Freshman Nick Kosich added 12 points and made a 3-pointer to give York a 40-34 lead to open the final quarter.
The Dukes will play Oswego (9-1) at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29.
Oswego, 52, Lyons 44: Connor Niego scored 14 points and his cousin Noah Niego added 10, but Lyons (3-7) fell after giving up 22 points in the fourth quarter to the Panthers.
“We have young guys with (two freshmen),” Connor Niego said. “These young guys are getting more varsity experience. They’re playing more games. When we get more chemistry, they’ll help us out.”
Lyons will play Glenbard East at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in a consolation winner’s bracket game.
