Woodlands Academy of Lake Forest held its “Winter Wonderwalk,” the 20th annual such fundraiser, earlier this month and featured a blend of new and old styles, including a 1989-built home on an estate from the early 1900s.
Attendees at the house walk got to view a 1969 home designed by architect James Otis that contains Western and Japanese art and antiques.
Visitors also saw a 1929 Cape Cod style home by architect William Bernhard that was recently renovated by architect Edward Deegan and a 1989 home by Robert Geudtner and Associates of Lake Forest on the D. Mark Cummings estate.
