A man delivering pizzas to an Aurora home Tuesday night was robbed by two armed men who beat him and stole his money, Aurora police said.
The 57-year-old delivery driver told police that he was dropping two pizzas off at a home in the 600 block of Concord Street around 7:40 p.m. when he was approached by two men.
The men allegedly led the driver to the back of a home where they told him they had a gun, police said.
Aurora Police Department spokesman Dan Ferrelli said the men hit the driver in the head and demanded his money.
The robbers, described only as two black men in their early 20s, took the driver’s money, cellphone and the two pizzas, and ran away, Ferrelli said.
The total loss was set at more than $500.
Ferrelli said the driver refused medical attention.
