Hooray, Thanksgiving is near! In my opinion, there is no better holiday of the year. It’s all about family, friends, feasting and tradition…and on Thanksgiving, did you know that all foods have no calorie content? It is a true holiday miracle!
I know that every family has some special recipes that they like to repeat year after year. But, every now and then, I think that it’s a good idea to mix it up a little and throw in something new for your guests to enjoy. The second grade students in Mrs. Santucci’s class at Prairie Elementary School know what I mean. They are giving the chefs at Butterball a run for their money this year with their creative suggestions on how to cook a turkey. A big thank you goes out to Mrs. Santucci and her class for sharing their special recipes (spelling and all) with us!
