Three Aurora middle school boys were charged with felony battery following a fight inside their school last week, Aurora police said.
Police responded to Waldo Middle School, 0-99 block of Jackson Street, around 2:40 p.m. Oct. 23 for reports of three students who had beaten up a classmate.
According to Aurora Police Department spokesman Dan Ferrelli, the boys, ages 13, 14, and 15, beat up a 13-year-old boy inside the school. The victim suffered facial swelling and a chipped tooth, but was not hospitalized, Ferrelli said.
All three boys were referred to juvenile services and released to their parents.
