Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

I see everyone survived the Bears bye week intact.

And why not, we’ve got enough going on around here and didn’t miss ’em.

Let’s start with the Blackhawks.

Now I’ll admit I try not to invest fully until it’s spring.

But, and there’s no way to overstate this, these guys are sick.

Duncan Keith’s injury aside, I’m not seeing anyone who can touch these guys.

I’ll take it a step further. I love our new Russian players.

The second line of Artemi Panarin and Artem Anisimov, paired with Patrick Kane, is deadly.

If these guys can play this well together, I have to think there’s hope for President Obama and Vladimir Putin.

Hey, speaking of the commander-in-chief, he was courtside as the Bulls beat the Cavaliers.

Sorry, no “Mayor, King, President” jokes here, but he likes the Bulls and you should too.

They’re called “depth” and “experience” and the Bulls have loads of them.

As for the burning questions, it’s simple. Is it Derrick Rose or Jimmy Butler’s team? (Hint: Nobody cares). Should Joakim Noah start or come off the bench? Hint: Nobody cares.

Their young players are fun to watch, and they would have never developed under He Who Shall Not Be Named.

So enjoy them. They’re a nice break from the Bears. They’re back, rested and taking on the hated Minnesota Vikings at Soldier Field.

I’ve always loved this rivalry, and hated the Vikings. I mean, they were an expansion team playing the Bears in their first-ever game in 1961 … and easily won 37-13.

Uh hey, it’s different now. We have a new coach and GM, one who told Jeremiah Ratliff to get lost.

So brave, cutting that 34 year-old who’s barely played. Nonetheless, we got younger with Ziggy Hood.

Yet another player picked up off the scrap heap ready to do some good. Ryan Pace is starting to make a name for himself. The Scavenger?
