The home bleachers at the Naperville North Friday could have passed as a show on Animal Planet instead of homecoming football game as students embraced the homecoming week’s theme “Welcome to the Jungle” by donning safari tour guide gear or looking like wild animals.

The clothing choice for the football was a reflection of what students wear wore throughout the week to raise school spirit.

Lunch periods were filled with entertainment. On Monday dueling pianos performed while trivia was offered on Tuesday. Students on Wednesday grabbed a microphone to sing with a live band for karaoke lunch. Thursday featured courtyard activities, and DJ entertained during lunch Friday.

The Huskies also celebrated the week of evening activities including bubble soccer, a faculty versus student basketball game, and the annual Mr. NNHS contest.

During the Friday afternoon pep assembly seniors EJ Vaughn and Madison Gillis were crowned homecoming king and queen during coronation ceremonies.

The week was capped off with the homecoming dance Saturday.
