When investigators saw four teens walk into an Aurora laundromat Saturday with no clothes, baskets or detergent, they became suspicious, Aurora Police Department spokesman Dan Ferrelli said.
The hunch paid off. Ferrelli said investigators seized a gun, ammunition and marijuana after questioning the boys about 7:25 p.m. at a coin laundromat in the 900 block of Grove Street.
Police said Michael Flores, 18, of the 1300 block of Kingston Avenue, Montgomery, and Anthony Ramirez, 18, of the 900 block of Mason Avenue, Aurora, were inside the business with two other boys, ages 14 and 15.
Ramirez was charged with possession of marijuana. Flores was charged with felony unlawful possession of a weapon by a gang member, four counts of felony unlawful use of a weapon, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ferrelli said that, when investigators approached the group, they smelled a strong scent of marijuana. Based on this, investigators searched the men, Ferrelli said.

Police said they found a .22-caliber revolver and bullets on Flores. While the three other teens had nothing in their physical possession, police noticed Ramirez walking in another part of the building when they entered the business.
Investigators searched the area and found a bag of marijuana hidden between some washing machines. Ferrelli said the drugs were linked back to Ramirez and Flores, resulting in the drug charges.
The 14- and 15-year-old boys were released without charges, Ferrelli said.
