Police said they located two handguns in the bedroom of an Aurora teenager on Friday during a search of his home.
Aurora Police Department spokesman Dan Ferrelli said the 16-year-old boy was charged with two counts of felony unlawful use of a weapon around 9:50 p.m. after getting consent to search his room.
Also inside the room, officers said they located a small amount of marijuana. The boy was also charged with misdemeanor possession of the drug.
