More than 90 Naperville area students are among the 16,000 named semifinalists in the 61st annual National Merit Scholarship Program. The semifinalists represent less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors.
In Naperville School District 203, 38 students were selected while Indian Prairie School District 204 had 33 students. All have the chance to compete for 7,600 scholarships worth about $33 million.
