“The staff from District 203’s Ann Reid EC Center is excited to be hosting the fair at the Ann Reid Early Childhood Center this year! The event promises to be another fun-filled day for children as well as informative and helpful to the parents of young children in a large community,” said Tarah Allen, principal of Ann Reid Early Childhood Center in a release. “We are lucky to have such dedicated community partners and area agencies that help us to offer this free event for all families. Even as a veteran educator, I always walk away from the resource fair with new ideas and community connections to help me in my work and family life.”

Sally Osborne, principal at Prairie Children Preschool, echoed Allen’s comments. “The Early Childhood Resource fair is an event for parents to attend with their children to learn more about resources in the community while their children are having fun. We are looking forward to seeing all our parents at the fair and feel fortunate to have support for early childhood education from the community and from our local politicians who will also be in attendance at the fair,” Osborne said in a release.

The fair will include interactive exhibits, emergency vehicles for kids to explore, story times in English and Spanish, musical entertainment, free dental screenings and drawings.
