USG Corporation, the world’s leader in building materials and technologies, today announced the promotion of Jennifer (Jenny) Scanlon to President of its subsidiary, L&W Supply Corporation. Scanlon’s new role is in addition to her serving as President of USG Corporation’s international business and a Senior Vice President in the company.
In her expanded role, Scanlon will be accountable for strategic planning and daily operations for L&W Supply Corporation. She will report directly to the Chairman and CEO.
Scanlon first joined USG as the Director of SCM and CRM Strategy and Implementation in 2003, successfully leading a four-year project to implement Oracle ERP software across 70 North American facilities. During her tenure with the company, she has also served as the Chief Information Officer.
Before USG, Scanlon was a Senior Vice President for Bricker & Associates, Inc., which later became Keane Consulting Group, where she specialized in developing strategies for Fortune 500 organizations to increase profits through operational improvement. Before joining Bricker, Scanlon worked for IBM in technical operations and consulting roles.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in government and computer applications at the University of Notre Dame, and also holds an M.B.A. in finance and marketing from the University of Chicago.
