Alex and Aldo’s restaurant in La Grange Park, was robbed Saturday night at gunpoint, with a masked intruder making off with about $400, police said Monday.
A man wearing a mask entered the business about 10 p.m. Saturday by an unlocked back door, showed a handgun and robbed three employees of an end-of-the-day bank deposit. He left through the same door and fled on foot from the 31st Street business.
He was described as 5-foot-5 and weighing 150 pounds.

The employees were not robbed of personal items and were not injured.
No further information was available Monday from the La Grange Park Police Department. A spokesman said the department is, “thoroughly investigating this incident.”
No restaurant officials were available for comment Monday.
