Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Miley Cyrus hosted the 2015 Video Music Awards last night and (if I’m feeling charitable) she was terrible. The only funny joke she told was at the very beginning, when she said, going forward, the VMAs probably won’t have a host after her dismal performance—something so probably true it’s only laughable if you like cringe comedy. While I wrote briefly about how her shtick fell flat, there was another person who also wasn’t too impressed with her hosting abilities: Chance the Rapper.

The 22-year-old Chicago MC, who was famously snubbed for not having his Austin Vesely-directed video for “Sunday Candy” nominated, tweeted out some very good points about her act. In the remarks, Chance discussed the quality of Cyrus’ jokes, her dreadlocked wig, her racially insensitive use of the word “mammy” and the bizarre, missing-the-mark White Squad parody commercial.

Read them below.

Chance did have some nice things to say about the night as he rightfully lauded the only good thing about the entire event: Kanye West.
