Update: According to a bizarre new statement from FilmOn founder Alki David, the company is retracting Chief Keef’s baby name announcement. “In light of new developments disputing that Chief Keef is the father of Baby Sno, the streaming TV and music platform FilmOn.com is retracting the right to let the mother, Lauren Woods, use the middle name FilmOn Dot Com until paternity is settled,” the statement siad. “We wish Ms. Woods all the best.”

Hey folks, it’s me, Josh “Tribune Media” Terry here with the news about famous L.A. via Chicago rapper Chief Keef. Earlier this week, the 20-year-old MC welcomed his fifth child into the world, a boy named Sno FilmOn Dot Com.

While that may not seem like a totally traditional thing to do to your kid, let me explain. FilmOn Music is Keef’s new record label, and since he’s “officially” releasing his full-length “Bang 3” on Sept. 18, what better way to promote an album than give your baby a name he’ll have to live with for the rest of his life? Win-win! Sno FilmOn Dot Com, who I might add is totally adorable, was also nicknamed “The White Sosa” by Keef in a now-deleted Instagram post.

In a statement, a rep for FilmOn founder Alki David, an eccentric Greek billionaire known for having more money than you, wrote: “Alki David has announced that Chief Keef and his newest baby mama have agreed to name the newborn Sno FilmOn Dot Com Cozart in order to promote the release of Sosa’s double album Bang 3 with FilmOn Music and MondoTunes on September 18th.”

Where many other celebrities will name their kids Moxie Crimefighter or Pilot Inspektor, only Keef is revolutionary enough to make his own offspring a human advertisement. That said, I really like “Sno.” He’s onto something.
