The good: The best thing about this pillow protector is that it protects me from pillows, especially those comfy down ones. Whether I’m sleeping in a hotel, a vacation rental or at a friend’s house, I often forget to inspect a pillow before I go to sleep. I am allergic to pollen, dust, mold, trees, grasses and goose down. Before I packed this pillowcase, I would often wake up congested from resting my noggin on a luxurious feather pillow. No matter how fancy the pillow, I hate waking up with a sinus headache. This pillowcase protects me from the stuffy side effects of down. Although I always let the hotel front desk know I prefer foam pillows, housekeeping often doesn’t get the word. This AllerEase case takes away my fear of resting my head on the wrong type of pillow. Plus, it washes well and doesn’t shrink in the dryer.
The bad: You might forget to remove it before checking out. So far I have remembered, but it will happen. Still at this price, it would not be painful to replace.
