Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

For me, art museums are for two things: 1) getting really antsy because the person I’m with wants to read every single plaque and description (Oh my god, let’s move it along people), and 2) feeling anxious I might fall and accidentally break something, leaving me in debt for the rest of my life and potentially having embarrassing security camera footage of the incident end up on a site like Gawker or RedEye.

Well fortunately, it’s not me with an awkward gallery moment all over the Internet. Instead it’s a Taiwanese 12-year-old who took a mean fall at Tapei’s Huashan 1914 Creative Park and landed on a 17th Century Paolo Porpora oil painting called “Flowers,” a piece that’s worth a honkin’ $1.5 million. He accidentally punched a hole in it too, which would have been way worse had the work not been insured. That’s some good news for our doofus kid hero, though. According to The Telegraph, his family will not have to fork over any money to pay for restorations.

As you can see from the video below, this could have been you, but let’s face it, you probably would have dropped your soda. Please remember: You’re just one bad step from having your clumsy mug all over the Internet.

Do you want to be a viral sensation for something stupid you did? Too bad! Any second now, uneven ground, ropes and your poor balance will work together to make you the butt of a lighthearted joke article like this one.

This kid will probably laugh about this someday. It’s a good thing the only cost is humiliation. Watch the clip below and, more importantly, watch your step!
