If you’re taking the CTA into downtown on Thursday, you might see a film crew shooting a commercial for Payless shoes.
Filming for scenes for the commercial with the CTA will begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday, according to a notice emailed to residents and businesses in Ald. Will Burns (4th) ward.
“No parking” signs will be posted for streets near Pritzker Park and the Harold Washington Library, where there is a CTA stop located. Parking will be prohibited on Van Buren Street from State Street to Dearborn Street and on Plymouth Court from Jackson Boulevard to Congress Parkway to make way for a staging area for film production vehicles and equipment.
One at Optimus, a Chicago commercial production company, will wrap up filming by 6 p.m., the notice said.
