player ready...Confirming what the Tribune reported Tuesday, the Bulls will open the season 2015-16 regular season Oct. 27 at the United Center against defending Eastern Conference champion Cleveland.
Here’s what else stands out to RedEye about the upcoming slate:
The at-times-infamous “circus trip” in November is just four games this season (Nov. 18-27), as opposed to the usual six or seven games.
The Bulls will play nine home games between Nov. 30 and Dec. 18, with just one road contest (at Boston) sandwiched in there.
The defending champion Golden State Warriors visit the United Center on Jan. 20.
The longest stretch of road games for the Bulls will be seven games from Jan. 28-Feb. 8, starting in Los Angeles and concluding in Charlotte.
After the home opener, the only time the Bulls will host LeBron James and Co. is April 9. They visit Cleveland on Jan. 23 and Feb. 18.
