While we’ve been chowing down on regular old deep-dish, pizza lovers in Mexico City have been enjoying Gino’s East Poblano Supreme, a pie stuffed with grilled poblanos, caramelized onions, pepperoni and mushrooms. Jealous much? Relax, we’ve got good news straight from the cheese gods: Gino’s East is bringing that dish and more special items to its newest location in Pilsen. Though the opening date and address haven’t been announced just yet, we have the scoop on some of those special menu items.
Jumbo chicken wings al pastor: Just add the words “al pastor” to any American dish for a very authentic touch.
Chipotle meatballs: STUFF THEM WITH MANCHEGO (you don’t even have to give me credit for that one).
Oaxaca caprese salad: Still not sure what Oaxaca, Mexico, has to do with caprese salad, but I’m willing to find out.

Four queso Fundido: Cheddar, mozzarella, manchego, romano, chorizo and cilantro collide in one ooey-gooey dip that requires at least five Lactaid tablets.
