Chicago area law firms Nisen & Elliott and Carlson Partners announced they have combined practices. The continuing firm will have over 20 lawyers and will operate under the banner of Nisen & Elliott LLC.
Members of Nisen, which represents diverse clients throughout the country, said the addition of recognized real estate and corporate lawyer Roger Carlson and his legal staff gives their Chicago office added depth that can handle even the largest and most complex transactions.
Lawyers at both firms say their combination comes at a strategic time because they expect to see an increase in real estate development and commercial transactions with the improving economy.
