A 33-year-old Mundelein man died late Sunday after his motorcycle crashed into a median on Interstate 94 near the Edens Expressway spur ramp near Deerfield, police said.
Eduardo Quevedo-Alcala was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:30 p.m., Illinois State Police spokesman Paul Carlos said. An autopsy was scheduled for Monday at the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Quevedo-Alcala was traveling west on Interstate 94 near milepost 25 when his motorcycle veered left into the median wall, according to state police. No other vehicles were involved.
Road conditions were clear at the time, Carlos said.
