Illinois Dunesland Garden Club: Annual Garden Tour from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event is free and the gardens are lovely. Six gardens are on tour, two each in the communities of Winthrop Harbor, Zion and Beach Park. The first stop on the tour is the Zion-Benton Public Library, 2400 Gabriel Ave. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and ends at noon. Club members will be on hand with directions to the six gardens. Participants can explore the gardens at their own pace and in any order they choose.
