A 66-year-old Round Lake woman was charged with prostitution after the Lake County Sheriff’s Office received complaints about activity at her home, according to a police news release.

Karin Gocza of the 25000 block of Route 120 in Round Lake was arrested July 1 after an undercover detective posing as a customer went to her home where she allegedly agreed to perform sexual acts in exchange for $190, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation was led by the sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division.

Charged with prostitution, Gocza is being held on $1,500 bail. Her next court date is July 29.
