Travelers can now book a Caribbean voyage aboard Holland America Line’s newest cruise ship, headed to Fort Lauderdale in late 2016.
The 2,650-passenger ms Koningsdam will offer seven- to 11-day itineraries roundtrip from Port Everglades between November 2016 and March 2017.
The new vessel — the first in Holland America’s new Pinnacle-class of cruise ships — also will sail on 10- and 11-day to off-the-beaten-path islands.
Koningsdam will depart on its maiden voyage in Europe on April 8, the Seattle-based cruise operator said.
The 1331-cabin cruise ship is expected to begin its Caribbean season with a four-day cruise from Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas on Nov. 9, 2016.
