Adrian Grenier took a break from promoting the new “Entourage” movie last week to come to Chicago for a charity event. Here’s that sighting and a few more from around town:

– Grenier attended the third annual Chefs’ Playground — which benefited the Academy for Global Citizenship — Thursday at Terzo Piano at the Art Institute of Chicago. On Sunday, he had brunch at Rockit Bar & Grill.

– Rapper Drake hung out May 28 at The Shrine and appeared May 29 at Shay after his concert at the United Center. Drizzy dined May 30 at RPM Italian.

– Latin pop star Gloria Estefan had dinner June 1 at Giordano’s on North Rush Street while in town for her “On Your Feet!” musical, which opened Tuesday at Oriental Theatre.

– John Cusack (“Hot Tub Time Machine”) and sister Joan Cusack (“Shameless”) dined Friday at Chicago Cut Steakhouse.

– Wyclef Jean gave a surprise performance May 30 at Paris Club Bistro & Bar’s upstairs club, Studio Paris. Fellow rapper Doug E. Fresh was also on hand that night.

– Country music singer Chris Young — who is one of the headliners at next month’s Windy City Smokeout — dined May 28 at RPM Italian.

– Legendary music producer Alan Parsons had dinner May 31 at Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse-Chicago.

– Christian Stolte (“Chicago Fire”) and Marina Squerciati (“Chicago P.D.”) attended the grand opening of arcade and gastropub For The Win in Streeterville Thursday.

– Rapper Lupe Fiasco dined Thursday at Gibson’s Bar & Steakhouse-Chicago. Whitney Port (“The Hills”) had lunch there Friday.
