A note to Cubs fans hoping for a chance to meet rookie sensation Kris Bryant in Zion on Thursday, May 28: Get in line.

ATI Physical Therapy in Zion plans to begin distributing wristbands at 4 p.m. to fans hoping to meet the Cubs rookie third basemen.

The first 250 fans will receive a wristband for the meet and greet scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Those without a wristband will not be guaranteed to meet Bryant, according to ATI’s website.

Marketing manager Julie Gardner said those who receive a wristband do not have to wait at the facility for the event, as their wristbands guarantee entry.

Fans will be asked to line up outside the facility and will be able to view the clinic as they move toward the meet and greet, Gardner said. Fans can take their photos with Bryant, but will not be allowed to have him sign autographs.

As fans wait in line, they will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for Cubs memorabilia and ATI prizes. The winners will be drawn after the event and prizes will be mailed to the winners.

There is no set end time for the meet and greet, and Gardner said they are leaving it open-ended to see how quickly the first 250 people move through. She said she is hoping that not permitting autographs will help speed the process up and allow more fans to meet Bryant.
