Antoine Jackson had allegedly been sitting in the rain for hours before Aurora police received an anonymous call to check on him.

Jackson, 36, 600 block of South River Street, Aurora, was seated on a bench in the 1000 block of North Farnsworth Avenue around 12:34 a.m. Friday with his head between his legs when police arrived on the scene. Next to Jackson was a 24-ounce beer and a backpack, police said.

Police said Jackson appeared intoxicated but in good health. As they dug a little deeper, police learned Jackson had two warrants out for his arrest in DuPage County.

Officers took Jackson into custody on the warrants and began to search his belongings. According to police reports, a total of 1.9 grams of cocaine were found inside four separate baggies inside Jackson’s backpack.

Jackson was charged with felony possession of cocaine.
