It’s a sky-high birthday party at the top of the Hancock.

The TILT attraction on the 94th floor of Chicago’s John Hancock Center is celebrating its birthday the whole month of May. That means 360 Chicago, formerly called the observatory, which is home to TILT will be decked out with birthday decorations.

Visitors with a May birthday (ID or proof of birthday required) can experience TILT for free this month, saving them a $7 ticket to tip over 30 degrees behind the moveable glass-lined enclosed platform 1,000 feet above Michigan Avenue. They will have to pay for general admission though.

More than 200,000 guests have visited TILT, which faces south, since it opened last May. Next month, 360 Chicago plans to unveil a renovated café and new sunset viewing area.
