The circus-themed show named, Franklin’s Big Top (after “Franklin,” the arena mascot) called out for clowns.
“It couldn’t be avoided,” said Anne Raucci, who has directed the annual show for the last six years.
Due to arena upgrades starting April 27, the show was held before its usual May dates.
“We didn’t have as many rehearsals,” Raucci said. “Everyone got through it and they did a good job.”
More than 100 people participated in the show which attracted about just over 1,000 people over the weekend.
