Police are asking for help finding a 64-year-old man who went missing from Mount Sinai Hospital Thursday afternoon.
Khalid Sawa, who authorities say suffers from dementia, went missing from Mount Sinai Hospital, 1500 S. California Ave., about 12:30 p.m. Thursday, police said in a statement.
The 64-year-old does not speak English and was last seen wearing a blue-knit hat, gray pull-over sweatshirt and black shoes. Sawa walks with a cane and is about 5-foot-7 and 191 pounds with gray hair and an olive complexion, police said.
