Collection: The Solid Waste Agency of Lake County (SWALCO) will be hosting a one-day-only collection event for broken and unwanted electronics along with paper document destruction from 8 a.m. to noon April 28 at the Lake County Division of Transportation garage, 600 W. Both of these services will be provided at no cost to Lake County businesses, schools and units of government, during this one-day only collection event. Lake County businesses, schools and government dropping off electronics and paper document during this one-day special collection event will be limited to dropping off approximately 100 electronic items (3 pallets or less) and three file boxes or bags of paper documents. Organizations with larger quantities of electronics and paper documents are asked to contact SWALCO directly to arrange a special pickup.
