Three days, more than 30 cooking demos, 40 local chefs, sommeliers and culinary experts, and 90 food and beverage vendors. This is Chicago Food and Wine Festival coming to Lincoln Park Aug. 28-30.
New to Chicago, the festival features local all-stars, like Girl & the Goat’s Stephanie Izard, Frontera Grill’s Rick Bayless, Table Fifty-Two’s Art Smith and Graham Elliot Bistro’s Graham Elliot. Throughout the weekend, fest-goers can meet chefs and sample signature dishes from HotChocolate, Honey Butter Fried Chicken, Dove’s Luncheonette, The Purple Pig and others.
Another highlight? Cooking demonstrations by The Purple Pig’s Jimmy Bannos, Sr., Spiaggia’s Tony and Cathy Mantuano, Mercato’s Fabio Viviani and more.
