Q: Where did you grow up?

A: Dayton and Columbus, Ohio

Q: As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A: A maker of things

Q: What dashed those dreams?

A: The evolution of what I was doing. I worked in engineering, then went to industrial design, and then to computer programming.

Q: What was your first job?

A: Manufacturing engineer. I helped develop the first ESS system for AT&T

Q: Who would play you in a movie about your life?

A: Dustin Hoffman. His parts are always well thought out and he is a compassionate man.

Q: What is your favorite charity?

A: Chicago Coalition for the Homeless. I love what they do.

Q: What is your favorite area restaurant?

A: Mon Ami Gabi in Oak Brook

Q: What is your favorite store?

A: Village Hardware. It is a fantastic store. I am handy. So I go there all the time.

Q: What is an interesting fact about you:

A: I am a good dancer.

Q: What words of wisdom would you offer:

A: Follow your heart.
