A loud music call ended in a DUI arrest after Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies found an allegedly drunk man asleep behind the wheel of a car with the music blaring.
Deputies were called to the 0-99 block of Circle Drive East around 2:54 a.m. Monday after a resident reported being bothered by loud music. When they arrived, deputies found the source, they said.
Two men were found inside a vehicle parked in the driveway of a home on that block. The music was blasting, deputies said.
In the driver’s seat, Ricardo Ventura, 19, 2900 block of Barn Court, Aurora, was found to be asleep. When he awoke, Ventura was charged with drunken driving, possession of alcohol by a minor and consumption of alcohol by a minor.
Deputies said Ventura was parked at the home of Josue Ortiz, who was seated in the vehicle’s passenger seat.
Deputies also charged Ortiz, 19, 0-99 block of Circle Drive East, with possession and consumption of alcohol by a minor.
