A man was wounded Thursday night in a driveby shooting in Washington Park, police said.
About 10 p.m., a 26-year-old man walking on the sidewalk in the 5300 block of South Indiana Avenue when someone inside a passing gray minivan fired shots, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a Chicago Police Department spokesman.
The 26-year-old was shot in his upper right leg, police said. He was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where his condition stabilized.
