Supermodel Karlie Kloss isn’t that much older than a college student—she’s 22—which is why it shouldn’t come as a surprise that she’s enrolling at New York University. What really turned our heads is her chosen field of study—coding. “I definitely could not get a job as a coder yet. But it is something I am fascinated by, even if it is not the profession I choose. If you’ve heard Lupita Nyong’o give an awards acceptance speech, you know that she isn’t just your average orator. “I wish that I took it more lightly sometimes because it costs a lot,” she told Harper’s Bazaar U.K. for its May issue. “Which is why I can’t do those speeches every weekend, because it costs a lot to share from such a deep place, if you will. The singer tells People magazine that she was diagnosed with Lyme disease last year, and believes she was bitten by a tick in late spring. “I had no idea a bug bite could do this,” she said. “I was bedridden for five months.” Thankfully, she says she’s feeling “80 percent” better now.
