Five things to do this weekend, and beyond:

1. Super Dog Egg Hunt, 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Bark Park at Commissioners Park, 22108 S. 80th Ave., Frankfort; 815-469-9400; frankfortparks.org.

Canines are invited to join the Easter fun at the Frankfort Park District’s free on-leash event featuring treat-filled eggs and dog-friendly vendors.

2. Earth Day, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Bettenhausen Recreation Center, 8125 W. 171st St., Tinley Park; 708-342-4200; tinleypark.org.

Plant a flower to take home and enjoy other activities and crafts while learning about recycling and protecting the environment. No registration necessary.

3. St. Xavier University Jazz Combo Festival, Saturday, McGuire Hall, St. Xavier University, 3700 W. 103rd St., Chicago; 844-468-6798; sxu.edu.

The concert at 6:30 p.m. features the John Moulder Trio, SXU Jazz Combo and Outstanding Combo recipients. Admission is $6, free for festival participants.

From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the inaugural festival will feature high school and middle school jazz combos performing for a panel of Chicago jazz educators and artists.

4. Family Time Magazine’s Kids Expo, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Tinley Park Convention Center, 18501 S. Harlem Ave., Tinley Park; familytimemagazine.com.

The annual expo will feature more than 100 vendors plus giveaways, bounce houses, pony rides and entertainment by the Chicago Herpetological Society, Spotlight Youth Theatre, School of Rock, Elite Dance Studio and others. Admission is $9, $6 for kids 12 and under, free for seniors. Parking is free.

5. Downtown Tinley Bunny Hop, noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, South Street and 67th Court, just south of the Oak Park Avenue Metra train station, Tinley Park; 708-444-5678; downtowntinley.com.

At the annual event, visit the Easter Bunny, collect eggs at activity locations, enjoy entertainment, games and $1 cookie decorating plus a craft fair and vintage photos at the historical society.

Visit with the Bunny and enjoy made made-to-order eggs and omelets, hand-carved ham and turkey, a chocolate fountain and more. The cost is $17.95 for adults and $6.95 for kids ages 3 to 12. Reservations are required.

-Amazing Race Challenge, 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. April 18, Lions Community Center, 1 W. Manor Drive, New Lenox; 815-485- 3584; newlenoxparks.org.

Inspired by the TV show, the New Lenox Community Park District’s race for clues around the village followed by a party is open to those ages 21 and up. Teams of four will complete in challenges, some involving food and physical activity, and earn clues. Cars will depart at 6 p.m. and be due back at 9 p.m. The party until midnight will include food, games and an open bar. Winner will be announced at 11 p.m. The cost per team is $220. Registration deadline is April 10, or April 2 to guarantee T-shirt sizes.
