Season of the rogue

Tom Cruise has one up on “Star Wars.” Paramount announced Monday that the latest “Mission: Impossible” flick will be titled “Rogue Nation,” The A.V. Club reports. That’s weeks after Disney revealed that “Star Wars: Rogue One” will hit theaters May 26, 2017. Not only is “MI5” beating that date by nearly two years—it’s out July 31—but its first teaser trailer dropped Monday as well.

Father and friend

Vin Diesel found the ultimate way to honor Paul Walker. The “Fast and Furious” actor named his brand-new daughter Pauline after his late friend. “There’s no other person that I’m thinking about as I’m cutting this umbilical cord,” he said Monday on the “Today” show. “I knew he was there and I felt like, you know, a way to keep his memory a part of my memory, a part of my world.” Diesel and girlfriend Paloma Jiménez have three kids together.
