The upcoming election affecting Deerfield residents is approaching fast. I am writing to encourage residents to re-elect Tom Jester for Trustee.
Tom is seeking a third term to the Village Board. As a long-time resident of Deerfield, Tom served for 12 years on the West Deerfield Township Board of Trustees and is also a founding and integral member of the Deerfield Farmers Market. I have had the honor and privilege of working with Tom on the farmers market for over 20 years.
With a background in municipal and public works engineering, Tom’s expertise has been significant in all aspects of village issues, especially those dealing with infrastructure and capital improvement projects, including the recent reconstruction of our Waste Water Treatment Plant and the engineering issues associated with resolving excessive surface water drainage into our sewers.
Tom brings to the Board valuable experience, sound judgment and immense dedication in keeping Deerfield a thriving and vibrant community. The Deerfield Village Caucus has wisely endorsed Tom for another term as trustee. On Election Day, April 7, please join me in re-electing Tom Jester for trustee of the village of Deerfield.
