Tokio Pub (1900 E. Higgins Rd., 847-278-5181) in Schaumburg is hosting its first Burger Wars competition at 6:30 March 23. The restaurant plans to hold the event annually.
Chefs from Tokio Pub, whose beef ramen burger blends the restaurant’s Japanese and American-styled cuisine concept, Wildfire, The Lucky Monk, Wickets Bar & Grill, and Morton’s will go head to head for best burger awards determined by a panel of local judges, including a fan favorite that will be voted on by guests. The event is $45 and includes mini burgers from each of the five teams as well as sides and beer pairings.
Reservations are required and can be made by calling the restaurant.
