Police are looking for information after several shots were fired from the backyard of an Aurora home Friday night.
No one was injured in the incident, Aurora police said.
Aurora Police Department spokesman Dan Ferrelli said the shooting occurred around 9:15 p.m. in the 0-99 block of South Lincoln Avenue.
Witnesses said a group of four to five men were in the backyard of a home when one man pulled out a gun and began to fire.
There were no further suspect descriptions, Ferrelli said.
The shooting comes after a recent break in gun violence throughout the city. Ferrelli said the last shooting to occur in Aurora was on Feb. 9 when a 24-year-old Willowbrook man said he was attacked and shot at by three men when he went to meet a woman he had met on the Internet.
That incident happened in the 1000 block of Woodview Court around 1:20 a.m., police said. The victim was not stuck by the gunfire.
