The whole gang was finally together as the Fire opened a three-game tournament in Portland on Sunday against ex-Fire coach Bob Bradley and his Stabaek team from Norway.

Fire backup goalkeeper Jon Busch claimed a clean sheet the Fire and Stabaek played to a 0-0 deadlock in the opener of the four-team Simple Invitational.

With just under two weeks to go before the March 6 Major League Soccer season opener in Los Angles, the Fire finally had everyone in camp.

Forward David Accam was among the last to report following a lengthy run with Ghana’s national team in this month’s Africa Cup of Nations. Forward Shaun Maloney was also back with the squad after concluding personal business in the United Kingdom.

Accam started and played 61 minutes on Sunday.

“With a better couple of touches he could have scored in the first half for sure, you can tell he’s obviously a very good player,” said Fire coach Frank Yallop, who pulled Accam after 57 minutes after he chased down a loose ball and was examined by a trainer. “He’s got a slight groin, we have to find out the extent of it.”

The only players not available were Patrick Nyarko and Mike Magee, both rehabbing from off-season surgeries.

The Fire play meet the host Timbers at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and conclude tourney play at 4:30 p.m.Saturday against Vancouver.
