Arami (1829 W. Chicago Ave., 312-243-1535) will hold its next noodle night from 5 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. next Monday. The event highlights special ramen and noodle dishes created by executive chef Fred Despres. Complimentary tableside sake tastings will also be offered.

The February event features Sukiyaki with harusame noodles, ribeye, snow peas, shiitake mushrooms, bamboo, egg drop and scallions ($15); Tori Sio Ramen with amish roasted chicken, baby bok choy, naruto fish cake, soft egg and negi ($15); Mushroom/Tofu Yaki Udon with mixed Japanese mushrooms, firm tofu, garlic chive, and yu choy stir-fried with udon noodles ($15). Noodle dishes from Arami’s regular menu will also be available, including the Arami Ramen with pork belly, braised beef, house tsukemono, naruto, grilled enoki mushrooms and egg ($15); Tantanmen with spicy chicken, wakame, bamboo, naruto, negi and egg ($15); and Nabeyaki Kishimen featuring shiitake, pea shoots, shrimp tempura, kamabuko and egg ($14).

The noodle dishes can be paired with the night’s drink specials, which include Asahi beer ($4) and Ichi No Torii ($9 glass/$15 carafe), which is Arami’s custom-brewed sake.
