Mike’s Hard Lemonade Co. has been put on the market for about $1 billion, according to a Reuters report Thursday.
The West Loop-based company, which is owned by Mark Anthony Group, did not immediately return requests for comment.
Mike’s Hard Lemonade sells bottled alcoholic beverages mixed with vodka in various flavors including strawberry, black cherry, black raspberry and limeade. Last year, the company began selling three flavors in 8-ounce cans aimed at more health-conscious consumers.
