NBC presented a 15-second teaser for its upcoming “Heroes Reborn” miniseries during the Super Bowl on Sunday.
The ad shows stars Zachary Levi and Jack Coleman. Coleman, who starred in the original 2006 “Heroes” series about people who gain unusual, superhuman abilities, returns in “Reborn” as H.R.G., aka Noah Bennett, a man who hunts down the “heroes” of the title.

Bennett seems to be up to his old tricks in the new clip, appearing to be chasing to the cold Arctic a young girl with a special ability. Levi is shown seemingly on the same mission, but they are not together. NBC has not revealed what character Levi will play.
The clip is subtitled “The Aurora,” and we see the child hold up her arms as if summoning an aurora borealis-like light show in the northern sky.
The 13-episode limited series “Heroes Reborn” will air sometime in 2015, NBC says. NBC’s digital platforms, Hulu and VOD will debut an online prequel to the new series called “Heroes Reborn: Digital Series” prior to the show’s premiere.
The new show comes from creator/executive producer Tim Kring, who also created the original series. Joining Kring are executive producers James Middleton and Peter Elkoff.
